Newcomb's Paradox
A thought experiment in decision theory
An infallible Oracle has already predicted your choice and prepared two boxes accordingly.
Box A always contains $1,000.
Box B contains $1,000,000 if the Oracle predicted you take only Box B — or $0 if it predicted you take both.
$1,000
